I thought the book was utter crap - it was so poorly written as to be painful at times.

I have no idea why this is so popular - I even tried to read a couple of Dan Brown's other books, Angels and Demons and Deception Point thinking maybe I'm missing something. But no, they were crap too. Angels and Demons was probably the worst book I ever read. Just badly, badly written.

I heard the movie is just as awful. I can't imagine paying any money to see it.
