darryl eastlakes has got to be the best State of Origin commentator in the short history of State of Origin. but when it comes to anything else..especially with something with a LOT less atmosphere like weight lifting, i think he overdoes it by a country mile.
as for the coverage, i dont have pay tv so ill settle for channel 9 coverage. to be honest i dont know how many records were broken. for me a commonwealth record isnt really a record nor a milestone. but yeah id agree with healer that a world record is a world record no matter where its broken.
but having a one sided games where australia totally dominated the games having beaten 2nd placed england by 111 metals in total (also beating them by 50 odd gold medals) is just ridiculous. is australia really obsessed with only sport?
heres the tally of the top 5... just a question... lesotho is in sth africa right? cos lesotho came in at 36 or 37 in the games..have they claimed independance from SA or what? maybe healer can help us out here....
