Absolutely agree and it's a great way of defining and explaing the difference.

This is exactly how I am. I can do just fine in a social situation andhave a good time when the opportunity arises, but I can't relax and settle myself until I've had that alone time afterwards. The only difference is that I only have that response after a more large event. If I were to spend a lot of time hanging out with one or two close friends for a long time, that wouldn't drain me at all. But once it becomes a small to large crowd, the need for alone time increases.
