Spoiler: Yeah, that's pretty accurate. Another way of thinking is that it's a combination of his 'life flashing' and the reality of the last few minutes of life. Two interesting things I liked, 1. As he had basically decided he was going to die, the film got a lot more tough on the doctor (the person trying to save him). and 2. The twins and triplets who make up a lot of the extras in the film are reminiscent of double and triple vision accompanying head wounds. Thanks for the comments.
