I'm not sure anyone is saying that your wanting to conceive and have biological children is wrong. I think maybe they are encouraging adoption to save you from the potential heartache (and financial pitfalls) of the ICSI process. My wife's cousin has been through years and years of fertility options, all to no avail. They haven't considered adoption, though she and her husband are now in their late 30's. Times' a-runnin' out, if you know what I mean.
On the other hand, you could buck the odds and conceive on your first try. If it's something you feel strongly about, by all means explore all your options and see how to get it done. Just listen yo your fertility doctors and don't try to sugarcoat the odds.
