No one here said that they weren't concerned about the devestation, death, and loss of homes. But unfortunatley, it cannot be undone. What we can do, though, is try to save money on gas.
I am sure that the victims of the hurricane will not be too upset if we go out to buy gas tonight before the prices rise that much more. In fact, I am sure that they would do the same thing if it had the rest of us and not them.
But none of what I am saying will matter to you or the others that have said things like this in the past few days, because you are going to wait until the prices are sky high so as not to offend those in the devastated areas.
Yes, I do feel horrible for those thousands of people trapped in the Superdome with no electricity or running water and the thousands of others affected by this. I have prayed for them everynight since I found out about this (Sunday night). And I have even gone ahead and set up donation areas at my job. But I also want to make sure that I can afford to drive to work tommorow.
