The Lakers drafting of Bynum was calculated move by Mitch Kupchak. Mitch wanted to show that Phil is not running the team, and, at the same time, went with a really...I mean really ballsy pick. Everyone is bad mouthing the pick, and they have a good point. Mitch is going to take a lot of shit for this for 2-3 years and hopefully Bynum becomes a player after that. The key is that you are going to have to play this guy a little, but not too little....and not too much. It is a really fine line. I don't hate the pick, it's OK. It's going to make me a nervous wreck though.
