This is a good thread! I've seen those shows too. I discussed these procedures with an older women friend I know, who had a major plastic surgerys (after all, I live in Northern California where it's becoming all to common-these ladies abound). This lovely lady had a facelift to remove the extra chin droop & had her eyes done. She went to a great/recommended doctor and it was amazing how much younger she looks now. However, she did say that if she knew in advance how horribly painful it was & the long time it took until she healed & looked good again...she might have reconsidered. But she IS glad she did this & it was a bit expensive. She spent $9 thousand dollars on the operation. It took several hours. I share this info. because it's true. Maybe we need to be more realistic about what we think we want and what are we really willing to endure in the name of beauty. She said her hubby thought it was a waste of money, that he always thought she was gorgeous, no matter what age she is & how saggy her neck was.
