Is there any point at which a culture may become so awash with powerful anti-social messages that it becomes destructive to the continued well being of its population?

I think not. It is definitly possible for a group or an individual IN a culture to become destructive, and lash out at other groups. But a culture as a whole, can not become destructive to its population, it's more likely that it would lose its identity and die as more and more members OF that culture would shy away from it.
