Found a convertible for my mom but why is the price so high?
Well my mom wants a convertible really really bad. I found one at the local dealership that would be perfect for her. It's a 1989 Mustang GT, V8 (she wants something that is moderatly quick) Automatic (she can't drive a stick worth a shit) It's in really nice shape, the top is good, the seats could be better, someone put a nice dual exhaust on it, some moron put a Lund stick on hoodscoop (ick). The dealer wants $8900 for it. And it only blue books for about $3900 max. I think it would be a good car, since I know where to get parts and I know how to fix them. But why would a dealership mark a car up that much? Any chance of having them dock $5000 off the sticker price?
