So, what are you trying to accomplish?
There are certain times i wish to browse wherein i do not wish to have my static IP addy ascertained. I'm just stupid when it comes to setting up computer systems and tweaks.

My goal: I want to present a different IP when i visit various sites.

I use Firefox. I have tried changing (from Tools >Options > Connection settings, clicked on the manual config and entered a various IP addy i pulled from a proxy site.

All i get when i do that, i get time out or just plain zippo.

What am i doing wrong? thanks mobo
