Having said that, your girlfriends mother is a childish drama queen. No good parent would leave a doctors office and endanger her daughters health because she isn't comfortable. Had they done the test, they could have ruled out pregnancy and moved on to the REAL problem. BTW, there are a lot of possibilities for the symptoms you laid out. It could be nothing, but it could be serious. I would place her health above any simpleton mothers pride.
