Here's to hoping this will now clear the way to some sort of peaceful, two-state agreement between Israelis and Palestineans.
Its fitting that he never lived to see the creation of the Palestinean state that he tried so hard to establish by means of terrorism. It is further proof that terrorism is a nihilistic, dead-end strategy for social change. He was a sworn enemy of Israel, an impediment to peace, and he led his people only to ruin.
The respect the French are showing this man in death is shameful.
