OK, I have isolated the SATA drive from the case. The drive is definitely getting power, as I can feel vibration and centrifugal force caused by platter rotation. So I guess it's a trip back to compUSA tomorrow. I'm done with this. I Flashed my BIOS, tried everything I could. I have installed many hard drives on my boxes and others. I've never been presented with such a hassle-factor. SATA can lick my nuts.
