Welcome to hell. Being a good person has nothing to do with it really. You would be a good person if you follow gods rules, which you would if you were a true beilever, but being a good person in itself isn't the issue.
So while agree with you it would take a pretty jacked up god to send you to hell, I've had the same thought, its not the issue.
