The way I see it is, Are the two of you happy with the choice of name? Because that's really all that matters. Otherwise, if he's not happy with it, tell him you'll pay for the name change fee when he's 18 =D

Hmm, in my opinion, there is a difference between realising that kids make fun of other kids' names and actually providing them with mockery-ammunition right off the bat (I judge neither your soon-to-be-son's name, nor USTWO's name choice.)
Also, if you love your kid, as all parents do, you'll not inflict her/him with a name s/he must ENDURE for 13 years of teasing by other children (assuming that your child doesn't care about the name until s/he's five years old.)
