it's just two elastic bands with plastic dots that go on your wrist. they work great. I was on a boat once and a girl was feeling really sick. I put them on her and within 20 minutes she was fine.

I second this recommendation. My wife gets carsick easily, and I bought a pair for a bus tour. I thought it was bogus, but might work on a mental level, so I gave it a shot. It worked great for her, until she flipped them off of the pressure point when we were off of the bus and forgot to flip them back when she got back on. Instant queasiness, then she realized they weren't in the correct position.
Available in drugstores, but you might have to ask back at the prescription counter (even though it does not require a prescription).
