You're dead right there, mate. It was producer Mike Chapman's idea to make 'Heart of Glass' into a disco tune. But listen to 'Rip Her To Shreds' for an inkling of those new wave roots.
And I'm not sure if I would call Veruca Salt 'punk' but I totally love them anyway.
