I'm into smaller scale rock crawling. Radio controlled. I recently built the Tamiya TXT-1 kit. It's amazing. It has amazing articulation, and drives over anything it's wheels can get traction on. It's built like a real truck - gear box, drive shafts, differentials, sway bars, etc.
It has dual motors, 4 wheel drive AND 4 wheel steering, and cantilever suspension.
I love trucks and offroading. If I had the money and mechanical skills i'd buy a '78 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 and restore the hell out of it. Thats pretty much my dream car (truck, rather).
I guess untill them, I'm happy with my 1:10 scale crawler
It's almost all stock right now, but I'm going to make some heavy duty skid plates and get a new body for it and do some other little things. I don't have 4 wheel steering enabled yet, I need a second steering servo (basically a motor for steering).
Anybody else do RC crawling?
