Yes, but not everyone wants to pay $800 to upgrade for a game. When paying for an apartment, a car, bills, and other regular expenses, any upgrade of that magnitude is quite significant.
Now, having said that I do think this is going to be a great game. My machine can handle it at low settings, but definitely not full out. Nor am I going to bother upgrading just so I can play it to the "max settings". I will play it at low settings and most likely enjoy the hell out of it. Perhaps a couple years down the road when I get a new comp I'll play it again on maxed out settings. I just don't see the need to have to fork over a ton of cash just so you can play it full out right NOW...
