I think you might be getting at the fact that we affect those around us, and because of that imprint ourselves a little on them. That may well be, but you can change someone's mind without becoming a part of them.

It was far too late and I was going off on how we don't know everything that there is to know about humanity, our minds, and different states of conciousness.
This could be debated until we're both blue in the face so I'll say this much: I have yet to see anyone who has any conrete proofs on the matter but if you know anyone - point him/her out and I'll be more than happy to agree.
