If the recoil is lessened, can the round still go through an engine block? The Browning 0.50 round is specifically designed for scenarios where you HAVE to go through your target. This seems like a curious amalgamation that has no real purpose but to have people go "WOW THAT'S COOL."
The small cost of the conversion kit ($1440 isn't that bad) is worth it if it makes the weapon a true AMR (anti-material rifle), but if it doesn't then there's no real point.
