Hah, isn't TFP a wonderful place!
I'm in San Francisco on business too at the moment.
Well, to be precise, I was in SF over the weekend, but moved down to San Jose for the week. This Friday I return back to the city to enjoy it once more, before departing back to Australia.
Mrs Mephisto and I had a ball over the weekend. I'm afraid we did the obligatory Alcatraz tour on Sunday, which was much better than I expected. Saturday was spent almost bankrupting me as Mrs Mephisto went balistic in the shops. Oh well, can't complain...
So, I hear that Soma is a nice area. Am planning on going there this Saturday and maybe checking out some of the local clubs. I'm not the party animal I used to be, but there's still some life left in the old dog yet!
Nob Hill is just up the road from where I'm staying (the Crowne Plaza on Sutter, just beside Union Square). I'm sorry I didn't check into the Westin on Union Square, as that looks even nicer...
