Next you're gonna tell me that he's been that efficient at drawing fouls all year. Pistons fans are taking this win and running with it, not looking back to even consider that maybe... just maybe... something is up. Ignore your previous fears that the Lakers were gonna gallup all over Detroit - those predictions must have meant absolutely nothing, right?

When a team's concept of defense is leaning on the ball handler trying to ride him out of bounds as he crosses mid court, the refs are gonna call the fouls. When the idea of a double team is to run up and throw your chest into the ball handler, or grab his arm as he dribbles past you, the refs have to call the foul.
The Pistons didn't play Haq-a-Shaq, and that is where the majority of the Lakers foul advantage has come from for the past several years. The Lakers may have played hard through the playoffs, but they definitely were coasting on their reputations in the finals. They should be ashamed of their play, and their whining.
(Derek Fisher was great on TV post-game. He impressed me with his comments and composure. Very classy)
