I don't understand why the media hates that kid so much. I hate saying racism, but it's pretty close. I read one article that said he's failed as a closer and failed as a starter. Looking at his numbers:
Overall he has a 3.33 ERA in 414 IP, 9.85 k/9 innings, 2.6 K/BB, opponents hit .206/.301/.323 off him. He's converted 86 of 108 save chances.
As a starter, last year he went 3-6 with a 3.38 ERA. His strikeouts went down, but so did his walks. Looking at that, where is the failure?

He's injured so things look down for him right now but I see no reason why he still won't develop into a very solid #2 starter for a contending team. I don't know what people expect from him.
