I'm into goals.

I've changed my goals short and long term all the time, but underlying are the values that help me with those goals. It's important to make sure that you don't compromise your values in order to achieve those goals.

My most recent goal was buying a new property. I never thought I'd ever be able to buy something in Manhattan and last year, not only did I buy something, I bought something in Manhattan. I also renovated it and paid cash for that renovation.

But in order to do it, I had to make sacrifices and know that the goal was there and never took my eye off the goal. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard either. It just took time and I had to be patient.

People want instant gratification all the time, it took me a good while to learn that while I was trying to find that instant gratification time was wasting away.

My time was not wasted at all.
