I've tried shrooms a few times, and never seen a reaction like that. I don't do them anymore, because it ceases to hold any real interest for me. Never had a bad trip though, although I did have a few sweet ones.

It makes me wonder if they had something else on them, like maybe pcp or lsd. Both of those drugs will fuck you up pretty bad.

It could also be that your friend is just a psycho. I mean, many people have strict control over their own violent and psychotic impulses. When you use a drug that strips all control away, sometimes this will happen.

As far as everyone elses claim about the chance of this everytime, and such... I don't think anyone here is an expert on brain chemistry, psychiatry, or a substance abuse counselor. Therefore, all opinions presented are equally arbitrary.
