The 9600XT is only marginally cheaper than the 9800 Pro

I'd go for a 9800 Pro (specifically, the Sapphire brand from newegg.com). It's around $212 the last time I checked. A phenomenal deal. The 9800 Pro will run dogshit around the 9600XT.
