So yesterday I stopped by the local sporting goods store and purchase a Springfield Armory Mil Spec .45acp. For those that aren't familiar with the gun it is a full sized 1911 about as plain as they come. It feels nice and the price was good. Today after class I'm heading to the range to try her out.
