Thanks for the tips everyone. I was able to finally resolve it. Found an article in M.S. knowledge base.

It wasn't supposed to apply to anything past ver.4 or something and I'm at 6, but it worked. Radi8tor had it right, but I found a fix just before I read his post. I had to reregister a couple of dlls.
At least sometrhing good came of it. I kind of like Firefox and will probably continue using it.
