OK, just to update you.

There was something I forgot to mention (!)

My wife has lost over 5 stone over the last 12 months (weight watchers) and she looks fantastic for it. Her self confidence is bubbling at the moment. This is probably helping her to cope with the current situation.

She's started a course of sunbed treatment(?) and yesterday she walked in with her eyebrows nicely shaped. It's fair to say she's looking quite hot at the moment

So as well as the flowers and cards from the kids, I think I'll treat her to a facial and all the works (not that type!) at the place that did her brows.
