there are huge differences btw what men and women find humorous (thats why many men find female comics to be awful, many do pretty much the same overbearing mother, can't find a good boyfriend, i have a vagina type act or just some good male bashing)
it is one of the many things that make men and women different
almost every man recognizes that we are very different and does not want to be included in "woman talk" and things that are directed towards women, but more women think that being involved in men's activities, including "guy talk", makes them more "equal"
it does not come down to whether what somebody finds funny is "right or wrong", it comes down to the fact men and women and people in general are all different, (and those differences can be funny)
if you don't like it, ignore it, they have the right to entertain how they please, just because i don't like female comics doesn't mean i'm gonna protest them, i'm just not gonna watch the ones i don't like
i don't like fart or dump jokes, not because i find it offensive, i just don't think fart sounds are funny
pure racism and hate speech is not funny, but stereotypes can be funny, if done correctly, they have been for years and will continue to be, until stupid, oversensitive people ruin it by claiming they know whats best for everybody because it may hurt somebody's feelings
the can's joke is not funny by itself because its too simple and has been played out,
comedy is about timing, delivery and the unexpected
some of the best comedy pushes the envelope and comedy as a whole may soon enter a dark period because of the far right and far left political climate (i don't want this to become a political debate, both sides are wrong and ignore the middle)
