I don't see how the two are related, seeing as the plastic girls do it to impress other people- i.e., false intentions- whereas these girls have done things to themselves because they like, and are not trying to impress anyone. They're just comfortable with who they are.

My opinion, my belief, and my hard on. I don't like an ink covered woman, and piercings don't really do much for me either.

Opinion, no problem.

Even if they have that image 24/7, it still is a fabricated one, and more extreme than a regular woman.

Fab-ri-cate: To concoct in order to deceive.
I fail to see the deception here. Like I've said, this is the way they are, and you could take it or leave it and they don't care either way. They've done it for themselves.

It still doesn't make them real to me. They are still an alternative.

So something that is alternative to what YOU define as "the norm" is automatically false, a lie, a fabrication, and not "real"?

I'm saying their image is not "real" in the sense that is implied. It's been said several times in this thread; they are alternative. That means a departure from the regular. No one is born with tattoos and piercings. It's my personal belief that these can enhance someone if done in moderation, but it's not attractive when it becomes the entire look. This makes them "unreal" to me.
|
If you find that sort of thing unattractive- by all means, that's perfectly fine. When you say they're not real, and then provide examples intended to support your assertion, you
are indeed arguing your point to us, not just presenting opinion. Giving us your opinion should never sound like you're trying to sell us on it.

So where are the "fat" women? I have NEVER seen a fat SG. EVER.

I can't help who signs up or doesn't sign up to be featured on the site. Also, Missy Suicide is the one taking the pictures and picking the girls, and a photographer's portfolio is as much a statement about themselves and their personal tastes as it is about the subjects within. Just because she doesn't have "fat girls", as you called them, doesn't mean the ones that ARE there are any less real or special in their own ways.

And I've seen literally dozens of SG threads at several forums. I know what I'm talking about, it's my opinion of it you don't like.
|
You're right, I don't like your opinion. Never said you couldn't have it, but that doesn't mean I can't argue it.
Right now there are entire threads containing opinions I find stupid, rediculous, pointless, and flat-out ignorant- and while I may disagree boldly and debate them furiously, I will never tell someone they can't have their opinions.

If you are insulted by anything I say here, you are being way too sensitive. I censor myself on here more than any other forum I go to...Nothing I say here is intended to offend anyone, just to disagree.

You don't have to intend offense to be offensive. I wasn't even truly offended, but when you make a broad, stereotyping generalization like that, it's an insult to those who DO find it appealing. That's the same reason why we don't say "fat girls are ugly"- it might be your opinion (just for example), sure, but it's rude and inconsiderate to others.

I will reiterate. SG does not represent this man's idea of attractiveness overall, and I'm kind of insulted that I'm expected to like them and think they're real because they are alternative.
|
I didn't say you had to like them, now did I? I'm debating you on your choice to label them as "not real" when it is my belief that they are very much real, true, and honest in their appearance.

They are just as much of a niche market as any plastic model. They don't get extra points for living their gimmick. My opinion.

"Niche market"? "Living their gimmick"?
That's their life. There is no gimmick in a person's lifestyle. You don't have to like it- you don't have to love them, date them, or even talk to them on the streets if you don't want to... but if you honestly believe they "dress up" that way for anyone but themselves, or for any reasons but their own...
...well, i just don't know how to convey my disappointment without flaming you. So now i'm done.
