Who honestly gets offended by "Merry Christmas"?

    If someone gets offended over something so small when it is a completely unintended insult of wishing someone well in essence... then I don't want to associate with them anyway and they can just have a Sucky Christmas/Holiday/Kwanzza/Hanukkah/Winter Solstice/Chanukkah/Winter break. I celebrate Christmas and if you tell me to "Have a blessed Winter Solstice" I won't be offended.

    I think this started because business simply wanted to include all holidays in all faiths this time of year. Rather than guessing what all your customers prefer, it just makes sense to express a nice greeting that includes everyone. I don't think any of my Jewish friends would get offended if I said Merry Christmas, but it does make someone feel like you are being impersonal.
