Bourbon balls... I'm not good at making them, but I'm hella awesome at eating them. And I typically think that I'm better than I really am at dancing after consumption.

noodle, the jokes just write themselves, so I'll refrain from making any..........

Seriously, though, what are the ingredients, and are they broiled, baked, roasted, fried or grilled?

Yeah, well... I knew the jokes were coming. Didn't care.

Seriously, you guys have never had bourbon balls? Crimony fuck. You're missing out.
    There's a dry recipe here
Rum or Bourbon Balls Recipe - Allrecipes.com
and one here Bourbon Balls Recipe | MyRecipes.com
and a more "wet" recipe (nuts are soaked in the bourbon) here
Kentucky Bourbon Balls Recipe - Allrecipes.com

I can't find my cousin's old school recipe where the bourbon balls were actually soaked in bourbon for a week before serving.

  11. I've had them. And I've made them. Really good, usually.

My husband bought me a bourbon-style whiskey from a Portland area distillery for Christmas: Temperance Trader

We haven't opened it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

My husband bought me a bottle of Four Roses for V-Day. This is seriously awesome bourbon for the price. He got the idea from all the local spots that carry it, and they're all places that take liquor seriously (one such place is a beer/wine only spot--except for bourbon). It's a new favorite.

Had a few sips of my hubs' Four Roses last night at The Grape and Grain Exchange. Kind of a reverse Blanton's... A little bite at the front and a smooth finish. I could dig it.

  18. Saw that earlier. So what does this mean; supply shortages, prices increase, both?
