Scotland and Ireland - haven't been to either yet, but I've seen a lot of England and Wales. I'd like to try climbing Snowdon again, though!

Argentina - I'd love to go horseback riding through the Pampas.

Peru - Machu Picchu, obviously. And the Inca trail.

Costa Rica - the amount of protected land is astounding, and I've heard great things about both the rain forests and the beaches.

Australia - I need to see more than Sydney and Brisbane! Also, Tasmania.

New Zealand - I met a lot of kiwis, I'd like to see their homeland.

    Egypt - archaeology

    Greece - samesies

    Nepal - mountains

Rome - I don't have much interest in Italy otherwise, but Rome sounds really cool.

    Russia

    Thailand

    Bali

    Fiji

    Singapore

    Japan

    South Africa

    Iceland

    Germany

...yeah, this list is getting too long. I need to just stop.

We've traveled to see many places. Next I would really like to visit the Florida Keys and the Everglades. So much exciting wildlife to see!

I don't know if the trailer shows it in much detail, but in episode 2 of this, the guys have lunch on a tiny Mediterranean beach, after sailing in. The views of the cliffs and houses perched on them are just brilliant. This is definitely on my bucket list :)

I can already tick off a fair number of places - it is definitely the history that I want to travel to see - it is one thing that Oz really lacks.

I can understand that. Here, lots of things are less than 200 years old. The oldest mission was built in 1834, and the oldest inland fort built by the Hudson's Bay Company in the area was constructed in 1824. There are scant remnants of the cultures that predate the Lewis and Clark expedition in 1804-06 that are still standing, unfortunately. Sadly, there are really only replicas in museums.

You know...if I could do it safely (and not be attacked or kidnapped)
I've always been fascinated by the idea of the Amazon...and the Congo.

Or if I really had the money & time, follow the trail of Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations episodes...
try the same foods. (or most of them...some I don't think so  )

Aside from a hiking/train trip across Europe, I think I'd most like to visit Ireland. Having a pint of Guinness in a legitimate Irish pub is on my "bucket list." I'd also like to see some of the castles, visit the Guinness Storehouse, and basically spend as much time outside as possible and generally love the fact that I'm in Ireland.

I'd also love to do one of the "volunteer vacations" in Costa Rica or South Africa-- studying sea turtles, feeding orphaned lion cubs, surveying giraffes, zebras, and elephants....yeaaaah, that would be pretty awesome.

The saving grace of the Guinness storehouse is the free pint and the view once you get to the top floor. I'm not sure it makes up for the entry price...

I would like to do Ireland and GB. For the scenery. for the history. for the whiskey and beer. I plan to go to London and Paris this summer.

I was in Australia a couple of months ago. Melbourne in fact. Thought I would never miss it, but strangely enough, I do.

I am going to Washington DC in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to it, but am curious as to what to visit while I am there. I was there before and saw: the monument, the Smithsonian, the capital bldg etc.

any TFP'ers know the burg? Which restaurants should I try (steak and/or seafood) Is the Old Ebbit any good? Are there any places outside the city that only locals know?

There are many places I'd like to visit that I've never seen before, most of which are international (in no particular order)—the British Isles, Germany, Belgium, Spain, southern Africa, Chile, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Japan, Thailand, Croatia, Lithuania (my people!), Cuba (more of my people!).

I want to see one or more of the Belgian classics someday.

I would love to travel to see a world tour cycling race, either the Giro d'Italia (which began yesterday!) or the Tour de France... maybe even both.

I want to return to amazing places I've already been—too long ago, more often than not on highly structured family vacations—especially:

The Austrian Alps (the hills are aliiiiiiive...)

    Sedona, Arizona

    Prague

Yoho and Banff National Parks, Alberta, Canada

    ...and stuff.

Banff, and the surrounding areas, are really quite beautiful. I used to go every year for work. Now? Not so much.

I really want to go back to Vietnam and explore. I really liked Hanoi, but want to go to Hoi An, DaNang and Hue.
