INFJ most of the time - husband is INTJ. It makes for some interesting dynamics at times.

Supposedly INFPs are also comparatively rare, but I seem to meet a fair number of them....

rare INTJ here; i think with both this system and astrology both it's easy to relate to the tropes and say 'yea, thats me' but INTJ in particular really rings through for me.

I think what happens among INFPs is that we gravitate to each other through mutual interests via means that make it easy for us to do so (both logistically and in tune with our personality).

As NFs, we tend to make connections based on pursuing things, often in abstract ways, that interest us. So we find each other on message boards and other venues related to these things. INFPs in particular don't tend to like small talk, but we will go on and on about the things we value deeply.

I think that's what draws us together and helps us connect. But when it comes to other types of venues or environments, we might clam up, or not even show up in the first place.

Yup. Snowy. You are you, unique as all get-out and all the more loveable for it.

Bingo! Was waiting for the first astrology reference/put-down. People never fail to disappoint my expectations. In this case, I am reacting much more in-line with my initial assessment.
    This is a subjective inventory.
If you had it professionally done as one of part of many assessments a professional--not you, would interpret it. We are having fun here. Or were.

Today I'm feeling sensitive and unwilling to censor my true emotions based on fear of repercussions from those that enforce consequences so I was curious how the inventory would reflect that and how little or how much it would change from 2 days ago:
    Today's Results:
    ISFJ
    Introvert(33%) Sensing(12%) Feeling(62%) Judging(67%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (33%)
You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (12%)
You have distinctive preference of Feeling over Thinking (62%)
You have distinctive preference of Judging over Perceiving (67%)

Distinct feeling over thinking--going with gut feel and no filter.
    Distinct Judging over Perceiving. Uh-huh.

Yep. I'm a bitch today. And yet...I'm STILL an ISFJ.

Just remember, just because you're in one category or another, doesn't mean you aren't unique.
Hell, there are only so many categories...and there are 7+ billion people.

It's just another interesting way of identifying your self and the way you may think.
Just like there is left brain and right brain.
Actually, there's a new one that notes Top and Bottom brain...with different modes -Link

But it's nice to consider and ponder.
I'm always fascinated with another perspective. (and it's fun too)

I often ask myself the same question. I guess you should first define what you mean by "living."

  14. Apparently, I belong in Washington... the state, that is. I'd see my granddaughter a lot more.

Having met you, I think you'd fit right in with Washingtonians.

I'm ISFP, with only a slight preference of Feeling over Thinking. On a different day, I might be ISTP.

    This, especially, rang true:

ISFPs have a strong affinity for aesthetics and beauty. They're likely to be animal lovers, and to have a true appreciation for the beauties of nature. They're original and independent, and need to have personal space. They value people who take the time to understand the ISFP, and who support the ISFP in pursuing their goals in their own, unique way. People who don't know them well may see their unique way of life as a sign of carefree light-heartedness, but the ISFP actually takes life very seriously, constantly gathering specific information and shifting it through their value systems, in search for clarification and underlying meaning.

Definitely going to explore this more thoroughly later.
