What's your dream vacation?

I've got the little field ones I keep in my office. Either would be better than nothing at this point.

Another aspect of a dream vacation is having all the proper maps and research done ahead of time. I plan vacations like the Normandy invasion these days.

Nothing beats having all your sites, restaurants and the local mass transit schedule done up in a laminated booklet. You feel like a friggin' secret agent.

But I agree. Nothing makes me wig out like arriving in a new place and not knowing my way around. Maps, transit, places to eat all need to be worked out in advance.
