    I pretty soiled now. Or maybe just a wuss. Went for a walk the other morning and it was 65. I felt like I needed a jacket.

    I can't argue with the truth so.... I will say it takes me about 24-48 hrs and I'm good to go in a t-shirt and cargo shorts down to about 50f. Then when I return to Merida it takes about a weak to climatize myself to the heat.

    Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 9-10" on the ground right now. Still coming down. They've upped the predictions to possibly 16". Over the next 2-3 hours the winds are supposed to go from almost nothing to over 25mph...giving us an "official" blizzard.

    "Officially" 16.7" of snow fell in the "snow event" this weekend. The plows hadn't been out yet when I tried to leave for work this morning. The snow in the street was higher than my ride's bumper. While I struggled to navigate the 2 blocks to the nearest main road, the city plow came by, swerved around me and buried me even deeper! Well done, you prick!

    Good guy neighbor saved the day, hustling out with his snowblower to clear a path into the freshly plowed lane. We had already run the battery dead on our Snow Joe. Gotta find a way to properly thank him!

    Local weather folk are claiming this is the 2nd most snow recorded in over 100 years. 1974 had a 19+" storm. I remember storms in 1978 and 1985 that rivaled this one... and another '80 or '81. And last year, when it seemed we just got pounded relentlessly, it seemed much more challenging.

    Did that ugly furball in Pennsylvania see his shadow today? No, I'm not referring to Bill Murray! That OTHER furball.

    About a foot and a half of snow from Sat evening to Monday morning. 20* now, and sunny, so not terrible for February. More snow on the way for Wed it looks like.
