I was at a loss as to what to post in this thread, but my iPod solved that for me on my drive this morning.

Apparently, it is a combination of glam rock and jump swing. The driving drums are my favorite thing in the song, but the shiny vocals, diving guitar, and horns keep me going as well. I really don't know what the song is about, but there are references to titties shaking, tight pants, and atomic bombs. What more do you need?

 

Granted, I don't hear this song on the radio. But I sing it to Benjen a lot, and it always makes me smile.

 

"Bad Moon Rising" by Credence Clearwater Revival. My friend thought it was "Bad MOOD Rising" while growing up. He said it made the song hilarious, imagining his girlfriend or mother upset at him.

I hear hurricanes a blowing.

This is my last call song. The level of my singing for the pub patrons depends on just how drunk I may be, but hey, when a bunch of drunk fools end up singing like a choir in a black church with this song.. it's pure awesomeness.
