Thin-crust pizza with mozzarella, spring onions, sun-dried tomatoes, grilled chicken breast, cilantro and garlic. From NKD Pizza.

    Pretty bloody nice.

Stone crab claws and calamari strips, grilled wahoo steaks, steamed broccoli, salad, and an Anchor Steam on draft.

  3. I have left over Waffle batter from brunch yesterday.....I'm thinking of seeing how it works on day 2 since I wasn't just going to throw it out. Sounds like a totally healthy dinner....especially when I add some fruit....and whipped cream. Totally healthy. ;-p

Tofu seasoned with taco seasoning, mixed together with black beans, red pepper, avocado, salsa.

Eden went with fast food tonight, and since I had a late lunch, I'm just now eating. I also had (am having...) tofu. I marinated it for a bit in a sweet chili Thai sauce, and then brushed on a little hot sauce and baked it for ~25 minutes. Also, some steamed broccoli & carrots. Yum.

Well, it's 1:30 AM here...but I had spaghetti for dinner. I don't know why, but I like adding sugar to the spaghetti sauce. I'm a either a diabetic's best friend or worst nightmare. S/he can meet me in the dentist's office. xD

  8. Last night I had a killer filet at Jeff Rubys in Louisville. And plenty of bourbon and BBC Bourbon Barrel Stout.

Thinking of doing something for my long-neglected sweet tooth tonight.

Pancakes with sugar and strawberry preserve sounds like the way to go.

That's how I like my waffles. We make our own strawberry freezer jam, and it makes the best waffle topping ever.

Decided to try my hand at potato and leek soup tonight. It turned out pretty good, if I may say so.

Whole wheat pasta with roasted brussels sprouts, a bit of lemon, and garlic. There's apple crisp for dessert.

Dude, you're having apple crisp and you're bummed about not having pho?

Pho suited my mood today. Apple crisp would've been better if it were preceded by pho.

Organic roasted chicken seasoned with pink salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, and fennel seeds. Got the drippings and carcass in the crock pot with carrot, celery (greens and stalks), and radishes, to make some stock.

Gotcha. It's the perfect weather for apple crisp today... but I'm not making it for just myself. and the man is gone until Monday.
I'm going to try to figure out how to do a mexican-seasoned tofu for a taco salad tonight.
