Meat, no problem. She does eat tiny portions, though... breaks my heart every time I see a 300-450g manly piece of meat on my plate and a 50-100 saladmuncher on hers.

Alcohol also a problem. I consume at least 8 shots of vodka when I have a casual drink. She stops after 1!

    I need drinking buddies.

Baltimore Pit Beef. Just took the sirloin tip roast off the grill a few minutes ago. It's resting and will be sliced up shortly.

Medium rare Blue cheese-crusted wagyu ribeye atop fingerling potatoes baked with caramelized onions and applewood smoked bacon and topped with a little housemade au jus. Grilled asparagus as a side and calamari with peppadews for appetizer. Followed by flourless chocolate espresso cake with raspberries and a cup of coffee. 2008 Simi Cab with dinner. I has a happy.

I agree with everything except crusting a wagyu ribeye with anything. :p

Where did you get that awesomeness at?

Capital Grill. S's was overcooked a bit. Mine was good, so I shared because I can't eat that much meat anyway. The crust really gave it flavor. . Mine was not melt-in-your-mouth amazingness nor was S's, but it was good. Max just tried to crawl inside my mouth, literally, so it must have been good and meaty.

home made burgers with cheese squished inside the meat so it melted and glooped out when you bit into it. My son made them and he is a genius. Also Sweet chilli stir fry as an accompaniment with chilli wedges. Cooked on the bbq in some glorious rare sun in Wales.

I had Prawn spring rolls, sliced Beef with black mushrooms, and some stirfried noodles with shrimp.

Also found my new favorite Chinese in this city.

Apparently, the hubs got a wild hair and decided to make a curry lamb pie with minted smashed pea topping. From scratch. Including the crust. I'm looking forward to it.... except the minted pea thing. But I'm keeping an open mind.
