So do Cubans make good pizza?

Probably pizza tonight. Local bar makes one they call a Bomber. No marinara sauce. Thin crust, olive oil, chicken, garlic and several kinds of white cheese.

Then backpacking the A/T in NC and Tenn for 4-5 days so will be eating some yummy dehydrated trail food.

It wasn't good as pizza goes, but the meat was phenomenal as usual.
Pho again tonight. The only thing my poor lip can handle.

I also picked up some locally grown corn and a baked fresh today loaf of bread from a local bakery.

I'm pairing it with a Cab Sav that my local wine bar/club carries that I bought when the owner of the vineyard was in for a tasting.

I even talked the butcher into cutting up one of the femur bones from the beef and selling it to me for Stanley. Can't leave the beast out.

Bay breezes and fruit, maybe some oatmeal. It was supposed to be bolognese, but I can't do a boat and fireworks on a belly full of pasta.

Had home-cooked Tagliatelle with Tiger prawns cooked in olive oil, tomato paste, tomato chunks and fresh basil leaves. Whole thing topped off with grated Parmesan cheese.

Wish I'd taken pictures of it... bloody delicious. Even moreso as we handpicked the gargantuan prawns ourselves.

I had real Maryland crabcakes and shared a pitcher of Fat Tire during our three hour dinner meeting.
It made it much easier to stomach all of the political stuff going on.
It was significantly better than the 10 hour meeting we had earlier.
