    Levite Levitical Yet Funky

    Location:
    The Windy City
Chicken marinated in lemon, garlic, ginger, lemon thyme, bay, star anise, cinnamon, poultry seasoning, paprika, s&p, worcestershire, EVOO, and honey; then rotisseried on my uncle's grill with rotisserie attachment. Served with farro, made with leeks chives and slivered almonds braised in white wine, garnished with grilled sweet onion and pomegranate seeds; and with white and green asparagus roasted with cracked pepper and reduced balsamic vinegar.

Dessert (served separately and a little later) was fresh strawberries, sauteed lightly in butter, in a sauce of slightly reduced Pinot Noir, sugar, vanilla bean, star anise, and black pepper; served with homemade vanilla ice cream.

All ingredients were organic and fresh, most were local.
