I had Taco Time. Generic Taco Bell-like fast food.

Taco Time is way better than Taco Bell.

No idea. It feels strange enough that I actually have time to plan a dinner. I have a vague feeling that it may involve the rest of the Bestest Pesto I made this weekend.

Probably hot dogs and left over pizza. Trying to clear out some of the leftovers in the fridge.

Tonight I am making my own chicken nuggets. It's healthier and the kids love them. Oh, and it's easy to make :)

As some of you may have picked up on if you read many of my posts (especially in here), I am a bit of a foodie. We usually fix a pretty good, homemade meal for dinner each night. We like going to non-chain, creative, or upscale places to eat. But every now and then I have a serious craving for a chili dog. I'm not talking some fancy, dressed up chili dog. I'm talking about Oscar Meyer weiners, canned chili, on a generic white bun, with cheap shredded cheese, mustard, and onion on top. Utter bottom of the barrel junk food of almost the lowest quality. But man is it good! :p

Tonight will be a chicken curry and roti and a tomato, onion and corriander sambal/salad... Well, that's what it is right now, it is however still quite early in the day so it might change ;)

Tonight was breakfast for dinner. I made pancakes. For a change, I added sugar, vanilla and baking powder. I'm going to have to make those more often. YUM!

I love "brinner" (Scrubs fans will know where I'm coming from).

We are having leftovers. We always make too much food, so tonight it's a hodgepodge of what we've had the last few days.

tonight will either be roast chicken or grilled lamb chops (not sure which just yet) with some roast potatoes, fried rice, maybe some pumpkin and a green salad...

Shake n bake pork chops. Which made me want to search for a recipe to make that healthier. Haven't found one yet though.

Toasted sandwich: 12-grain bread, deli mustard, Daiya cheese, fried tofu, and steamed kale.

...with a side of steamed kale drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with fresh-ground pepper and herbes de Provence.

Made it home in time to eat dinner at home, barely. The wife has a recipe she made up that is pretty good. Throw a roast in the crock pot, seasoned like you would taco meat. Throw in some kidney beans, a pepper or two, and cook it all day. Serve with shredded cheese, chopped onion, sour cream, and Fritos, either in a bowl or in a tortilla. Tasty. :)
