Food What's For Dinner Tonight?

I was going to be yummy mexican food ( I was craving a poblano pepper), but they were too busy, so we hung out with like 100 Og the Barbarian Bikers at the funky German restaurant. And I ate that thing I can't remember the name of... ringroulade or something. It was decent. And The Jersey Shore was there (no shit, the bikers called them out for this bizarre hairdo), so I was entertained.

 

Thai: eggplant, bell pepper, bamboo shoots, green onions and basil with chicken in green curry sauce. Spicy sweet!

 

Mixed grill (beef and lamb), baked potato, roasted cauliflower and broccoli.

 

Capital Grill tried to kill me. With really good food and shitty service.
I wish I knew what made me so sick. Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella with sautéed cherry tomatoes, filet au poivre--medium rare, and a few glasses of red wine. Maybe it was the truffle fries... but I didn't eat that many.
Dammit, it was delicious, too.

 

Really doubt truffle fries could have gotten you. I'd put my money on either the mozzarella or the filet.

 

If that was true, I would have been a corpse for a long time now.

Shared a whole lot of Bruschetta, Pizza frutti di Mare, Pizza Tonno, Lasagna and Tortellini a la Panna with a few friends tonight. It was bloody delicious.

I'm making a Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce to go over some ravioli.

Creamed garlic and chopped chille, fried, then add chopped onion until mulching, then passata.
Meanwhile, Southern Fried Tofu chicken Breasts are grilling, and pasta is getting half cooked. Chop cooked 'chicken' into the, by now, rendered-down sauce, and throw in the half-cooked spaghetti, so it finalises by infusing the sauce. Grate a bit of cheddar for body and parmesan for bite.

Nearly but not quite drop it all on the floor while serving ... that really adds to the appreciation!
