    Red quinoa, simmered until the shoots pop out, drained
    Sauteed onion and kale
    Trader Joe's potstickers, fried
    Mix onion and kale into quinoa once onion has opened its door to translucence
    Throw the potstickers on top

    Green tea, or beer!

    Actually, though that sounds okay, I wrote it down wrong..

    Red quinoa, simmered until the shoots pop out, drained
    One potato's worth of mashed potatoes, kale added along with the butter and cream or milk
    Trader Joe's potstickers, fried
    Mix quinoa into the mashed potato with kale
    Throw the potstickers on top

    Dinner was bloody excellent. Stuffed like a pig. I'm supposed to attend a dinner organized by the European Union Chamber of Commerce soon, and I hope it matches this.

    FYI, Kebab-e-Kubide is this:

    It's a Persian dish, a kebab made out of minced meat. From an authentic Persian kitchen, it's delicious as hell.

    I want what everyone else is having. I have not been in the mood to cook much lately, too tired by the time I get home. I feel like we are in a rut, but trying new things with the picky kids is difficult and, often times, frustrating. Eating out is just as complicated and not an option today. Maybe I will make meatballs and spaghetti.

    Last night my husband made tofu breaded with nutritional yeast that tasted like chicken. It was SO BIZARRE. It really messed with my tastebuds.
