Staying the night. We're outward bound from the Valley to Eastern Oregon. Our road trip will make a big almost-circle--Hood River, lower John Day river, the Painted Hills, the John Day fossil beds, and Strawberry Mountain, where we are going to see the world's largest fungus, before we head home through Prineville.

I had the tuna w/ radishes, wasabi, and seabeans, my Fuzzy and our daughter had lamb w/ mint, garbanzo, feta, Romania, red onion, and vinaigrette, and the Rascal chose mac and cheese. We all shared the dessert sampler it was lavender creme brulee, triple chocolate cheesecake, and whiskey bread pudding. Such a tasty meal and a treat to be at Edgefield![IMG][IMG]

    A Mexican feast!

We'll be having ancho mushroom tacos, topped with queso blanco and ancho salsa, along with street corn salad and grilled zucchini.

Tonight my fella and kiddos are taking to me to Urban Fondue for my birthday dinner. Have not been out of this house all week so I'm really eager and grateful for this! We've been vegetarian (again) since July 17th so if we choose something other than veggie will be first fish or seafood since that date. Will probably have a pescatarian type option tonight as lobster sounds kind of delicious today! :D Does anyone here like fondue?:cool:

Vegetarian entree at Urban Fondue (they even traded out anything that had onions). I love those people they are some of the sweetest I've ever encountered. [IMG]

Yeah curry sounds good still, but being at that stove on a tall chair does not. Lol. We may have to wait on that. You are wise to order pizza @snowy ! :D

EDIT: We're ordering sammiches  lol okay sandwiches but it looked better the former way.

I made grilled pork chops with BBQ
    Garlic rice and string beans.

And a nice glass of milk to wash it down.

Cute infantilisms in language. The word "sammiches" always just makes me cringe. Like hearing a 40 year old grown man say he needs to go potty...

No offense taken. There are some language things that annoy me. Sammiches is one. That "bad boy" is another that comes to mind. Cute the first hundred times I heard it.
I appreciate and value your insightful contributions to this board. For me, the "roll eyes" emoticon does not indicate offense.

Makin paleo chili. Hubs eats it with trader joe's quinoa and veggies. I eat it plain.
