    Something pretty rare in our house:

    Steak, Angus sirloin to be precise. With a stuffed baked potato.

    I normally cook at least one vegetable, but tonight I plan to stuff myself on steak.

    Usually I am a purist when it comes to rubs or crusts on steaks, but that was pretty decent.

    Tonight will be leftovers; we have quite a stash in the fridge that we need to eat.

    Last night was baked whole chicken stuffed with onion & garlic, with veggie (peas & corn) rice, followed by homemade apple & cranberry pie.

    Grilling some steaks (one ribeye, one porterhouse, we'll both have part of each, any leftovers will make for steak and eggs for breakfast) and shiitake mushrooms in a bit.

    Last night.....

    Broiled chicken breasts (pounded flat & cooked topped with fat free zesty Italian dressing), yellow squash (sauteed in margarine with garlic, pepper, & salt), & thin spaghetti (it was glutten free, we tried it only because someone gave it to my wife) topped with margarine & Parmesan cheese.

    Korean beef, also known as bulgogi. Got this recipe about 20 years ago. My uncle was into korean women (they tended to be pretty submissive compared to American women). He didn't want his second korean wife to get americanized, so he kept her in Korea. At any rate it's flank steak thinly sliced across the grain, then marinated in soy sauce, garlic, yellow onion, sesame oil, and then about a can of sprite or 7-up. Blend marinade together, pour over beef slices in a zip lock bag. Knead to marinate. Got two flank steaks, the other is now mixed in marinade and in the freezer. Ready to thaw when I want it.
