Have a good recipe for peanut sauce? I'm not really happy with any I've found.

    Yo Robot Parade.

Nope, no recipe. I buy the ready-to-eat sauce. The one I use is called "Classic Thai: Peanut Satay Sauce" and looks like this:

We are trying a relatively new pizza place that we've never gotten around to trying, then off to our local wine bar/regular spot.

Hey NY people try Waldys Pizza on 6 Ave (about 28 St) Really thin pizza not overloaded with cheese and sauce, like ITALY...

That works - I like to make things from scratch when I can, but peanut sauce may just be one of those things I'm better of buying from a jar for now.

I had Afghan Manto tonight for dinner (similar to Turkish Manti, Iranian Mante and Russian Manta). It's similar to pastries with sweet fillings, except the pastry is dough and the filling is ground meat with onions. The finished Manto is usually topped with a garlic yoghurt mix and a ground-meat sauce.

It's my absolute favourite dish... maybe because you rarely eat it as it takes a bloody long time to prepare and cook, it's usually for celebrations and only Afghan mothers know how to make it properly.

    Here's what it looks like:

Shepherd's Pie. I haven't had one in ages and had a craving. I suppose it was really a Cottage Pie as it was made with ground beef rather than ground lamb.

As I was seduced by another thread here, I made meatloaf, with roasted potatoes, and mixed vegetables with garlic butter (or, margarine-- kosher that way).
